it has been an extremely trying week month. that's why i am so thankful that it is finally november. praise the Lord for answered prayer requests and love! and in an attempt to get my mind off things, i turned to an old school favorite art project: crayon resist.


draw a design-- any color works well, but i personally love the white on white.


then have some fun with the watercolors!


paint over the crayon, and watch the design pop. i stuck to the blues and reds, but added some white watercolor to soften the colors. and then just wait for it to dry!

    what kind of praise reports do you have??
    and not to make you dwell on what's been hard more than necessary, but what's been some of the stuff that's not been so fun? :/
