it was the perfect place to stop and enjoy a nice, warm cup of caffe mocha.

and it shouldn't come as a suprise that my favorite part was the art exhibit upstairs!

the works displayed in this cafe are latin influenced art with vibrant colors.

and although dia de los muertos just passed, all of the related art was still up.

for some reason, i really enjoy the art and crafts associated with this celebration. as in, it makes me giddy with excitement. which is odd since i don't like halloween-- which also has skulls.

even the smallest details on the shrines were full of color and creativity.

it is a lovely place to hangout and chat with friends as time seems to slow down. the atmosphere is so peaceful and calm that i could have probably stayed lounging in my chair for another hour or two.
