after a long day at work, i thought i'd make something quick to eat and doze off. but when i found two other chefs in the kitchen, i knew it was going to be more like a feast. so much food!
it's amazing how many different dishes you can make with every day ingredients.
grilled shrimp; shrimp, tomatoes, green onions, lemon balm, oil, lemon pepper.
cucumber sesame salad; cucumbers, sesame seeds, vinegar, sugar, water, soybean oil, sesame oil, salt, crushed red pepper.
sautéed lamb; lamb, onions, green onions, sesame seeds, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, pepper. and of course some grilled tomatoes for a nice pop of color. yayy!
in addition to the previous dishes, we also made a lovely beef stew with all kinds of good stuff like tomatoes, carrots, onions, and lots of cabbage. there was also a pan of sautéed bean sprouts.
but the star of the meal was definitely the chilean sea bass-- cooked to perfection with butter and lemon pepper! after all that time in the kitchen cooking and photographing the food, i was just really hungry. so i dumped a little of each dish onto a plate and dug in. happy friday! ♥
