i wasn't really expecting anything from this weekend's retreat, perhaps it's because i felt a bit out of place this time around and just finished a long, tiring week at work.


but God really used this retreat to encourage and challenge me.


it was nice to have a change of scenery for the weekend,


and to spend time in worshiping and learning more about God.


the messages were powerful reminders of God's great love, justice, and sacrifice for us. so strong in fact that it was hard to ignore. the God of the universe loves you! ♥ 'but God demonstrates his own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.' - romans 5:8
