i am at my happiest when making a mess with art. so at the latest celebration, i made some colorful cards to give to others. hopefully it makes them happy too! ♥


since crayon resist is so much fun, that's what i decided to go with. i really like sharp crayons, so i pulled out my newer set of crayolas (and the glitter ones too).


then i drew some designs and splattered the cards with watercolors.


instead of the usual watercolor pan sets, i opted for these lovely watercolor tubes.


after the cards dried, i added some detail with a silver gel pen and added sequins to complete the look. that was a lovely project, but i'll save christmas cards for the professionals.
