in the past five days, i've gone out for sushi three times. ohh, so good. ♥ and to celebrate father's day, we made a trip out to an ayce sushi restaurant called sushi one spot. it was a bit of a drive, but so worth it for fresh and beautiful sushi.


the owner really knows his stuff when it comes to good sushi,


and we were thoroughly impressed with the food. plus, there was no wait for dinner and the service was excellent! all the factors that make for a great night out.

and the fish to rice ratio was perfect (lots and lots of fish)!


the appetizers were also delicious-- miso soup, vegetable tempura, calamari, fried oysters, edamame, and more. if there were more space in my stomach, i would have tried even more!


there were also a few special items like raw oysters, halibut, and uni.


my favorite thing about ayce sushi is the opportunity to try new sushi, while still enjoying the usual. i was just happy that there was so much salmon! ♥





at the end, there was even green tea ice cream. not my favorite, but still the best way to end the meal! i'm definitely looking forward to eating here again. yayy!
