this morning i received a text message about an extra ticket to watch 'harmony' at the ahmanson theatre. at first, my natural reaction was to say 'no thanks' since i didn't know the six other people we were going with. however, i figured it wouldn't hurt to go. the musical was fantastic-- 'a reflection of german popular music of the 1920s and 30s' through the story of the comedian harmonists. such an interesting and touching story!
