over the long weekend, we visited the autry national center. it was the perfect day to spend out in the sun. and what made it even better was that there was free admission!
'the autry national center of the american west is a museum dedicated to exploring and sharing the stories, experiences, and perceptions of the diverse peoples of the american west.'
the regular galleries were nice, but my favorite was the family discovery gallery.
it was so much fun walking around and playing with the various props.
and outside, we even had the opportunity to pan for gold (and keep it)!
and if anyone's interested, there's another free day coming up this weekend. or president's day or every second tuesday of the month.
