this is a recipe that i have come to love over the years-- and it's perfect for potlucks. i changed some of the measurements up to my liking. it's so easy to customize and switch out ingredients.

broccoli salad; grab a head or two of broccoli (i usually double the recipe).

a bag of your favorite sunflower seeds with no shells,

½ cup craisins, ½ cup diced red onions, ½ cup cherry tomatoes (i skip the tomatoes),

and a full pack of bacon-- it doesn't hurt to be generous! for the health conscious, you can put a few slices or skip it altogether. but seriously, who doesn't love bacon?

mix all the ingredients in a bowl. in another bowl, combine 1 cup mayonnaise, 1½ teaspoon white vinegar, ¼ cup sugar, salt, and pepper (the original recipe calls for 2 tablespoon white vinegar, but i think it tastes better with a lot less!). then mix everything up and it's done!
