praise the Lord for the opportunity to serve as a children's sunday school teacher for the past eleven years! it has been such an amazing experience teaching and learning from the Word. last month, my class and i journeyed through the first half of exodus-- from the birth of moses to the crossing of the red sea. it was a wonderful adventure where we really got to see God's hand at work. ♥

and of course, there had to be some way of incorporating art into the lessons!

we hung up drawings of moses and the burning bush,

acted out or made crafts for each of the plagues (chocolate chip cookies for the plague of flies and washi tape 'snowflakes' for the plague of frogs),

(my favorite craft to make was the plague of boils, but sadly i have no pictures of it)

recreated the pillar of fire and pillar of cloud, as well as, so much more!

'and when the israelites saw the great power the Lord displayed against the egyptians, the people feared the Lord and put their trust in him and in moses his servant.' - exodus 14:31
