i pulled out some supplies that i could use for the cards--
colorful mini brads and eyelets in all sorts of shapes,
sparkly sequins and other embellishments,
mini clothespins and paperclips,
and my favorite stencil set. ♥
when it came to decorating, we alternated between cards and added more each time.
flat cards seemed too safe-- so we threw on some texture.
instead of loose glitter, we used old school crayola glitter crayons and gold stars.
and for quick patterns, we used washi tape. so easy!
we also decorated the insides of the cards and made matching envelopes.
afterward, we also ran each card through the sewing machine and splatter painted them.
