the last few days have been busy-- which isn't always a good thing when it comes to my life because it leaves little room for any downtime. so i took a short, ten minute trip to the garden to see what new things have been growing. i'm so glad that God gives life to these plants, because i've neglected them for most of the year. take a look at the sugar snap peas!

i also found some tomatoes growing (although most are still green),

and the banana trees are now towering giants-- sort of like ents.

at least one half of my cactus garden still looks decent enough,

and so do the rows and rows of kale.

i also found some peppers growing quite nicely like these jalapeƱo peppers,

and these trinidad scorpion peppers. the peppers have such bold colors and odd shapes.

of course, what garden is complete without the wild lands? the place where succulents are allowed to grow unrestrained and forever neglected. this giant plant used to be the size of my fist. now it's multiple times larger than my face.

sometimes it's nice to be reminded of God through His creation. thank you God! ♥
