it was the perfect weather for a day out in one of my favorite cities,
to celebrate art in all forms! one of the events was the artwalk, 'a free open-air fair, hands-on activities, gallery walk, music & more along el molino at colorado.'
there was also free admission to a couple of local museums-- i didn't realize it, but it's been two years since i've been to pmca. here's a look at the layer exhibit, but the edgar payne exhibit blew me away.
we also took a detour to old town to enjoy the shops and sights,
and found a chest filled with games! what a nice surprise! ♥
then we ended the night at artrhythm, 'celebration of world drumming traditions from japan to africa. dance under the stars with samba & salsa concert finale!'
I was so tempted to stop by and make some crazy straws if we had more time XDD
