the los angeles county fair is back in town again! and it's becoming somewhat of an annual trip to spend a day at the fair under the scorching sun. even though it's pretty much the same thing as in years past, it's still fun to grab friends or family for a day out.


there's something for everyone at the fair-- lots of shopping places to check out,


with vendors selling all sorts of items ranging from expensive to inexpensive.


sheepskin shoes anyone? or how about wool socks? the fair has it all!


but as much as i love shopping, i always look forward to the lovely displays!


and also the beautiful flower arrangements at the home and garden section.


diamonds might be a girl's best friend, but flowers are my best friend.

and as creative as people are, God is infinitely more creative-- just look at the beautiful life He's created all around. everything in nature screams out that there is a God! when i see the colorful flowers and adorable animals, i'm reminded of God-- and thankful that He's given us such a variety of living things. how sad would it be if there were only one type of flower or animal, or only one color in the world?
