nineteen more days until summer, so hopefully i'll have more free time to take care of my cactus garden. i've let it grow wild for a number of months, but it is getting completely out of hand. it doesn't look that bad in the pictures, but it's quite disgusting because you can't tell what's hiding underneath.


two years ago it looked like this, but now the plants are growing over each other.


so over the weekend i trimmed the garden down a bit,


until there were distinct spaces between each cluster.


not visually appealing, but it makes it a lot easier to manage.


plus, the plants grow surprisingly fast! i have thirty different types and so much extra (so incredibly much) that i usually end up throwing these succulents away. so let me know if you want any!
