and it just so happened that we were at the staples center on the same day as the stanley cup playoffs! we knew it would be kind of crazy around the area, but it was also quite exciting to be surrounded by so many fans.


it also required some skill to navigate through the crowds, but we managed just fine!


the first stop was at lucky strike, a swanky bowling place. there, we were able to watch the game on large flat screen tvs at the end of the lanes.


we also continued watching the game at rock'n fish. the energy was amazing and also quite contagious. in the video below, you can see how everyone got excited after the kings scored.






it wasn't exactly how we expected an end of the year banquet to look like, but it worked out just fine. i'm just thankful that we ended the night safely-- even though the pepper spray came out.
