i have saved about a decade's worth of cards, letters, and random notes.
every once in a while i'll look through the letters (all sorted of course),
and sometimes i'll find a note that makes me smile,
or find colorful drawings of things i vaguely remember.
some people have such a gift when it comes to ink on paper, but i am not one of them.
perhaps that's why it amazes me when i read cards with more than a few words.
