i spent the weekend at my church's english fellowship retreat. to be honest, i wasn't really looking forward to the retreat, but God was able to make it into something wonderful-- a great time spent with Him, as well as other brothers and sisters. ♥


there's so much more i could say about the retreat, but you'd have to ask me in person. in other news, the site itself was quite lovely, and had a sort of homey feel to it.


there was a spectacular view of the lake in the backyard,


which looked especially breathtaking during the sunrise.


i thank God for such a beautiful weekend with such perfect weather,


and for the abundance of food and prayer-- especially prayer.
