i thought regular chicks were cute, but emu chicks are even cuter! after fifty one days, this little baby finally hatched. it was surprising because earlier, there were signs that it might have been infertile.
it took the whole night for this baby to peck through its giant shell,
but it finally did! yayy, and what a miracle it was!
