this past weekend, i spent the most beautiful day exploring parts of los angeles-- and as h. huntington said, 'i believe that los angeles is destined to become the most important city in this country, if not in the world.' it was quite an adventure, but i certainly enjoyed taking pictures around the city.

before the day started, i spent a few minutes playing with this cute dog.

then off to the tim burton exhibit at the los angeles county museum of art.

before leaving, i took a few pictures with the famous urban light and ate lunch at ray's,

burger; chop steak, wild arugula, griddled onions, sottocenere cheese, early girl tomato, house brioche, and chips

after that it was a trip to the los angeles public library,

then a few blocks to 4th and hill for some fun at the park,

a few more blocks toward the bradbury building,

a few more blocks toward the walt disney concert hall

across the street to the lovely area behind the museum of contemporary art.

and finally a few more blocks until we stopped at suehiro cafe for dinner.

i love how the night gives the city a different feel,

almost as if it just woke up from a colorful dream. ♥
