eventually, i'd love to own a house with a studio to house all my lovely art supplies. but for now, my side of the room will have to do. my art supplies already take up about 90% of the drawers and yet i still find myself in need of more space. anyway, i thought it would be nice to change up the look of my desk (plus, i was watching steven & chris and thought i'd try their neutral plus two colors approach).



this is how my inspiration board looked before-- a mix of photographs, chains, papers, and ornaments in all sorts of colors. after a while, everything started to get lost in the clutter.


so i sorted through my happy box and swapped out most pieces,


then decided to make a paper garland just for the fun of it.


here's how it looks now-- dashes of blue and green to spice up the neutral colors.


i definitely like the new look. now it's time to start playing with art more. ♥
