the other day, i checked out a thrift store in pasadena. it's usually closed by the time i'm at work, but i found a way to fit in a trip to this store. i'm really glad i did! i picked up the lord of the rings boxed set from 1970 for only 3$ (it's going for 195$ on ebay)!
